I FEEL PRETTY

 

I feel pretty is watercolour paint on Yupo, a plastic paper. To paint on this paper the paper has to be absolutely flat or else the paint will just slide right off, the worse thing is waiting for the paint to dry to continue on to the next stage. The upside is the really brilliant colours that are produced with the paint staying on the surface of the paper.

 

This is the sumi block and the twig.

 

This is my first effort in using just a sumi block and twig from the garden, It was a quick ten minute sketch.
